Your Home Inspection
A thorough home inspection is a visual, non-damaging examination of the critical components of a property. It describes the physical condition of a home and indicates what items need repair or replacement. The inspection includes a written report that summarizes the findings relating to the following areas:
Structural Components (i.e. foundations, floors and walls)
Exterior Components (i.e. siding, paint, windows, decks, garage doors)
Roofing (i.e. coverings, flashings, chimneys)
Plumbing (i.e. piping, fixtures, faucets, water heating and fuel storage systems)
Electrical (i.e. wiring, main service panels, conductors, switches, receptacles)
Heating (i.e. equipment, safety controls, distribution systems, chimneys)
Air Conditioning and Heat Pumps (i.e. cooling and air-handling equipment, controls and ducting)
Interior (i.e. partitions, ceilings, floors, railings, doors and windows)
Insulation and Ventilation (i.e. attics, walls, floors, foundations, kitchen and bathrooms)
